Official platform stores are the lowest-risk choice. A purchase made directly on Steam or Epic is usually attached to your account and may not reveal a separate key.

How to Activate a Steam Key
Use these steps only when a retailer actually supplies a Steam-format product key.

Choose Activate
Select “Activate a Product on Steam” and continue through the product activation notice.

Enter the Key
Paste the key exactly as supplied. Steam will show the product attached to the key before installation.
If you bought Halloween: The Game directly through the Steam Store, check your Library first—you normally do not need to find or enter a separate CD key.
Check Before You Buy
A low price is useful only if the key works for your account and includes the edition you expect.
- Platform: Steam, Epic, PlayStation, and Xbox licenses are not interchangeable.
- Region: avoid keys marked for a different country or “VPN activation.”
